Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m, about 141 km from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, and reached through Pahalgam town and Sonamarg via Baltal.
Welcome to the Srinagar, the Lake City. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of Amarnath Yatra. You will be transferred to Hotel.
Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar.
These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots.
Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more
In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Early in the morning proceed to Sonamarg, arrive in Baltal and proceed for the holy Amarnath Cave by helicopter .
Numerous devotees flock to Amarnath for the holy Amarnath Yatra every year. The cave houses a stalagmite of Shiv Linga (12,756 ft) and is considered as a sacred site by the Hindus
The helicopters usually start operating at 6 AM (depending on the weather) and there will be approximately 1 hour for Darshan. Priority passes for Darshan will be provided to you.
After darshan, return to Baltal via helicopter and be transferred to Sonamarg Hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
After Breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar
On reaching Srinagar you will explore SPS Museum , Badamwari Garden(Almond Trees) , old city and River Jhelum
Night halt at hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight with Everlasting Memories of Overseas Holidays
